{UAH} Bishop Ochola to visit site where his wife was killed in a land mine blast.
Dear Colleagues,
Tomorrow, 16th May 2014, the Family Members of the first and now retired Anglican Bishop of Kitgum Diocese, Rt. Rev. Macleod Baker Ocholla II, will join him at the site where his wife, Ms. Winifred Auma Ocholla, and others died in a land mine blast, about seventeen years ago, to remember her and also to thank the community who rush to the scene to offer help.
This place is located at Pamolo village, a few kilometers away from Kitgum town on the way to Mucwini sub-county Kitgum district.
Besides conducting memorial service, which is scheduled to begin at 10.00 am, the family have also established a nursery school at the site as a monument instead of the usual monuments we find in the region.
This accident has made Bishop Ocholla to be more visible and known throughout the world for his crusade for forgives, than when he was still in office.
