Funeral arrangements for Our Elder John Charles Ogole

I would like to express my deepest appreciation for your sincere spirits of Solidarity, for continuing to pull together, comfort and mourn with the family of late John since passing of Lt. Col. John Charles Ogole on Wednesday 30th April 2013.

In spite of all your other commitments, I am really pleased that the community and Inter-Community have continued to make time, sacrifices to come at the family residence, comfort the family and pay their respects to Adwong John. I would be remiss, if I do not recognise all your kindness, thoughtfulness and please continue to maintain this community spirit.

I would also like to confirm that there are now three coordinating stations working concurrently to arrange the funeral of Adwong John namely; London, Kampala and Loro. I have been mandated to comment briefly on the arrangements in London.

In a recent meeting, the family and members present set up an organising committee comprising of the following members among others:

 I urge all sub-committee members and the rest of the community and inter-community to work with this committee and family to organise the best occasion to pay befitting honour and respect to our incredible Elder, Adwong John.


I can confirm that the date for the funeral service is now set for;

          Time:   12:00 Noon

Directions:     Nearest underground is Willesden Green Station (Jubilee Line), Cricklewood Train Station (Over-Ground), Buses 260, 460, 226, 266, 245, 189, 332, 32, 16, 98, 52.

Further arrangements regarding the reception venue will be communicated in the due course. Please avail time attend and serve.


In the meantime, there is a condolence book opened at family home and the community members, families and friends are all welcome to pay their respects.

Following a request from the Finance Committee, please continue to make financial contributions to help the family with the funeral arrangement through a Finance Committee member at the Family Residence. For those members unable to attend at the Family Residence please make your payments through:
