{UAH} Astronomical State House expenditure per minute = 2 salaries for primary school teachers

Just got information about the difference in spending between State House and the President's Office in Uganda.

Whereas the budget for President's office has remained almost the same over the years, the one for State House is exponentially rising to astronomical heights

In 2005/6 FY, State House budget was UGX 6bn against a National Budget of 5 Trillion (tn).
In 2012/13 it was 59 bn against 11 tn
In 2013/14 it has been 220bn against 11tn

Translation: 220 bn a year, 18 bn per month, 665 million per day, 28 million per hour and finally 462,000 spending per minute.

In simple terms, State House spending per minute = salary for 2 primary school teachers! Wow!
