Letter reportedly signed by Jacqueline Mbabazi to a one Mr Wamoto

New evidence has emerged detailing how Jacqueline Mbabazi is determined to use covert operations at grassroots level to topple President Yoweri Museveni's government in order to help her husband, Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi ascend to the top position in the country.

In a letter dated April 10, 2014, which has been exclusively obtained by The Truth Uganda and allegedly signed by Jacqueline Mbabazi, written under reference 'Invitation To Serve Mbabazi's Bamboo Cell 2-Elgon', it goes ahead to label the President a liar.

The letter which is addressed to a one Mr. Wamoto partly states that; "It was an open secret and matter of time that the liars (the Museveni's) would off load you after exhausting your energies just like many of us were done.
Your rigidity and disbelief towards my husband's mission was misplaced, we told you. You lost it too. For the record, I would like to inform you that between 50%-60% of your Bagisu tribes men/women ie politicians, elders and youths are working with ou teams!"

The letter further goes on to state that; "I invite you therefore, to join our struggle so that you can use your priceless airwave talent (s0 to enhance our 2016 victory in Bugisu."

According to sources, Jacqueline who is the NRM Women's League Chairperson has continued to campaign for her husband even after several warnings to desist from using the party structures to front her agenda.

The latest revelation however comes at a time when Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi refused to clarify whether he is indeed going to stand for the country's top job come 2016.

Mbabazi told journalists at Parliament recently that right now is not the time talk about presidential elections or let alone discuss his presidential ambitions.

His non commitment to ending the speculation was interpreted by political pundits as a big sign that he is ready to stand for presidency.
