{UAH} M7 Receives "Most Admired Political Investor" Award

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Friday received an award for the most Inspiring, admired and Patriotic Political Investor of Uganda since Independence at the public opinions organised 'Responsible Investment Awards'.

The function was held at Hotel Royale in the capital Kampala.

Uganda's army, the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces took the Overall Responsible Investment Award of the year

Operation Wealth Creation Commander and brother to president Museveni, retired general Salim Saleh was awarded the most Admired And Development Oriented NRA/NRM Bush War Hero

His award was received on his behalf by daughter Esteri.

While addressing the guests, the president had encouraging words for investors in the country assuring them that electricity rates will for industries will be lowered.

On hurdles of transportation in the region, president Museveni said "We are even thinking of building an electrified railway so that travel between here and Mombasa is cheaper"

The even was attended by the country's Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi.
