Prostitutes are making money in 2014 world cup

 

The ongoing 2014 world cup in Brazil is entertaining but those in the oldest profession on earth are using the opportunity to cash-in a lot of money because for many soccer fans, it’s not just the competition that’s drawing them in, it’s the accessibility of child prostitutes. Prostitution is completely legal in Brazil but most of the people selling sex on the streets are not of legal age.

An estimated 600,000 people are set to descend upon Brazil for the celebrated sporting event.  


The sex workers charge 60 Brazilian Real ($25) for half-hour of sex and 100 Real ($44) for 1 hour.
