{UAH} KARAMOJA
KARAMOJA {in colour} part 2
At the first sight – I fell in love with Karamoja.
This is Uganda's land for warrior nomads. For many years it has been an isolated area.
Everyone, including the LRA (The Lord's Army) feared entering Karamoja. This also kept tourist, humanitarian agencies and others away. Many things have changed, and today its relatively peaceful. However there are great needs, and ADRA is one of the NGO:s working in this area for a long time.
For many years Karamoja has been a dream destination for me. I am so happy I got the chance to visit this marvelous place in November 2012. I was there to have a 2-days workshop for ADRA Uganda's staff about the importance of photos in reporting from the field. I also had the chance to spend some days just strolling around and capture life.
I got a lot of great feedback from my previous photo collection of Karamoja - "Karamoja in silver"
and I hope you'll enjoy this set too!
