Leila Kayondo: I am Light That Turns Every Man Into A Celebrity

Ugandan songstress, Leila Kayondo has described herself as light that turns whichever man next to her into an instant celebrity.

"Every time I am near a man, I have to make headlines. Trust me, if I were to move together with any man, I am just that light………I will still make headlines," said Leilah in an interview that has been posted online.

Leila was trying to refute claims that she and city socialite, Sully Mbugga popularly known as SK Mbugga are in a relationship.

"He (Sk Mbugga) is a man of big status and I am also of ….status. So, when they see two big weapons moving around and doing some things together, they start to make noise. He is young, handsome and has got the money but hey, we are just close, good friends and working partners."

The Awo singer and the showy tycoon, who owns a fleet of of Hum V cars, have been reported to be dating but the pair continues to dismiss the claims saying they are just friends.

However, as this was still hanging, a woman only identified as Fatuma Zalwango, who claimed to be tycoon SK Mbuga's wife approached media early this year, accusing Leila of stealing her man.

"Where do they steal (men) from? Forests? I did not steal any one's man," Leila responded in an interview on a local radio station.

Leila currently has three songs with self declared music heavy weight, Jose Chameleon and media reports have it that it is Mbugga who paid Uganda's biggest musician so he could collabos with Leila.

The earlier songs like; Hooray and Relaxing that they have together have all gone on to become mega hits.
