Why do Afrikans leaders still stick to the colonial boundaries which have clearly not worked for Afrikans?

Why do Afrikans still stick to colonial systems of Administration which have clearly not worked for Afrikans?

Yet Afrikan leaders continue to blame Europeans for colonialism and Imperialism?

My white Gentleman friend asked me these questions when we were discussing what's happening in Northern Nigeria where boko 'haram operates from.

Gadafi had suggested that Nigeria be split into two countries . Wole Sonyinka also alluded to the same

i.e. for the sake of Peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
