{UAH} Response to Nyende: The Truth is Nice

Ben,
I am curious. If you don't look for answers in the minutes and the backup info that the accountant used to prepare the tax returns, what other angle can help you answer the questions you raised about the loans?  Are going to rely merelyon the good character of the persons involved?
You say that the 2012 tax returns provide answers and leads...which answers and what leads? I my view, the tax returns gave vague descriptions of the reasons for the "loans".
Here is how minutes can matter: Supposing UNAA President Joseph Kamugisha came to Treasurer Ben Nyende and said that last week, Kamugisha'd run into a Chris Kayoshe and Kayoshe told Kamugisha that UNAA owed Kayoshe $100 for unknown services. So Kamugisha decided to give the $100 to Kayoshe on the belief that UNAA would pay back $110 (the $10 is interes)t and now Kamugisha wants Nyende to issue a refund by July 10th, 2014.
1. there was no prior approval
2. there is no subsequent approval
3. there is no backup info to prove the services that Kayoshe performed
4. there is no proof of the debt to Kayoshe
4. there is no receipt to prove the payment to Kayoshe
5. etc
thanks

Yes they can be answered and get us to the hidden truth!

Am not saying that you shouldn't ask your questions but rather look at it from another angle.

Ms. Becky and I had agreed to certain things.    Others had asked other questions like, Kamugisha had insinuated that Wilson paid himself without regard to others who that were in line to be paid.   Nick has indicated that we've some issues of supplying "air" and then demanding payments.   You too, Musoke had asked, privately, questions that can be answered by that page!

The 2012 tax returns, especially that page provides answers and leads!!

So, what did the threesome provide that left UNAA owing them over $13,000?    Was it "air" as Nick claimed?   Did Wilson and Ssenonga jump the line in paying themselves before others?   Here people had insinuated that Wilson only paid himself, and yet Ssenonga was paid $1,500!

Now it gets even more interesting!

Was this a case of men ignoring a woman and not paying her a dime?    Why wasn't Brenda paid?   Was that a case of "only $300, not now!"

There is another twist coming up, and as my Mutooro friend said, "Kyali, mawe kashitame ogambire!"

Ben,
Your questions cannot be addressed unless one looks at the minutes, the backup info provided to the accountant and the 2013 tax returns.
Please join me in begging Brain and Nekyon to prevail on Aisha Musoke Ogwang to provide the relevant minutes. The 2011-2012 minutes would have been passed on to her by Henrietta Nairuba. It is also possible that the minutes from the past 10 months have some info on outstanding loans. The minutes from the past 10 months are taken by Aisha.
If people are saying that they are supportive of efforts to examine UNAA's finances, they have to be willing to go after the known sources of information.  e.g if we look at the minutes, we can see when the authorization was made, what the money was forwho used the money (did someone come to the meeting and claim to have lent us money before he got the approval of UNAA?  the terms of the loans (are we paying any interest, if so, what is the rate?), etc
We can also look at the amount in the bank at the time to see if we actually needed the loan.
See?  Someone in the Wilson camp has to tell Aisha that the minutes are actually the property of UNAA and that there are several ways of legally forcing her to produce the minutes.
Ms Rebecca Namwase Ssemambo could also be prevailed on to produce a copy of the 2013 tax returns to see if any money was paid to Mr. Wilson and Brenda to cover loans.
I am not sure who has the backup data for the info used to file 2012 tax returns.  Did Jude get it from Brenda/Consesa? When Jude was deposed, did he pass it on to Brian? Or it was part of info that Nairuba passed on to Aisha?
thanks
