{UAH} Islam against Racism
Dear Brothers and sisters, here is a new Facebook forum on Islam being against Racism, lets like and kick start this discussion.
This forum is dedicated to sharing experiences against racism that is so prevalent in many Muslim countries.
It is a fact that so many Muslims experience racism and discrimination on a daily basis, especially in the countries of the Middle East, Asia and Africa -- the locations they perceive to be their own but rarely voices ever are aired to reject this nefarious discrimination. The discrimination closes doors for many people from being able to interact socially with others while also prohibiting them to access economic opportunities that offer a modicum of social justice.
This forum is aimed at calling out and identifying discrimination whenever it happens. It's aimed at encouraging people to speak out and seek advice and an empathetic listener whenever they encounter racism. The forum is planned to be as interactive as possible; to share any experiences of racism and many questions as well as answers surrounding discrimination.
And it's not only the discrimination of race or colour that should be condemned on this forum, as all forms of discrimination including nationality, tribe, religion, gender, sexuality and others should be. The most compelling idea for this forum is to provide a voice to all victims of discrimination, whether they are Muslims being targeted in the Central African Republic or Christians being targeted in Syria, Iraq and Egypt, or Indian workers being treated as second-class citizens in the GCC countries. All forms of discrimination are and should always be unacceptable.
