{UAH} Museveni attended the first Lukiiko meeting after Bulage and Lubiri were returned to the owners
1.The African grey parrot is sometimes called Kasuku is called "enkusu" in Luganda; it is an ancient native domestic bird. . In Runyankore the parrot is called "enkushu." It is called "mukusu" in Lusoga. It is an amazing and highly intelligent bird.

2.This is Kyaggwe Saza (County) Headquarters located at Saza Road, Ggulu, Mukono Municipality. Kyaggwe Sub-county Headquarters was constructed and set up by the people of Buganda. The structure brings back memories of the late Hamu Mukasa (Ssekiboobo). When NRA guerrillas captured power in 1986, a group of them pitched camp at Kyaggwe Saza headquarters for some years, while under the command of the late Com. Proof Magala. Some Kabaka's men in Kyaggwe used to take milk and food free of charge to NRA soldiers who were based at Kyaggwe Saza under Com. Proof Magala (R.I.P).

Kyaggwe County comprises the following sub-county (Ggombola) headquarters which were constructed and set up by the people of Buganda Kingdom:
1. Nakisunga, Mutuba I
2. Najjembe, Mutuba II
3. Kyampisi, Mutuba III
4. Kawuga, Mut IV
5. Nyenga, MUT V
6. Kasawo, Mut VII
7. Kawolo, Mut VII
8. Koome Islands, Mut VIII
9. Ggoma, Mut IX
10. Ntenjeru, Ssabaddu
11. Nakifuma, Mumyuka
12. Buikwe, Ssabawali
13. Ngogwe, Ssabagabo
14. Nagojje, Musaale
Each of the afore-mentioned Ggomboloa headquarters sits on 49 acres of mailo land owned by the people of Buganda Kingdom, with considerable legal rights of ownership, as evidenced by their original land title deeds and land surveys, emanating from the 1900 Buganda Agreement.
3.President Museveni attended the first Lukiiko meeting after Bulage and Lubiri were returned to the owners. From 1966 until 1993, Bulange (the official seat of Buganda Kingdom) had been forcible detained and renamed Republic House, which was occupied by soldiers of the then government of Uganda as their military headquarters. Lubiri Mengo was also forcibly detained and turned into a military barracks (Lubiri barracks) from 1966 until 1993.

4.The late Omugabe Sir Charles Rutahaba Gasyonga II, the monarch of the Kingdom of Ankole and his heir son, the late Omugabe John Barigye who was coronated on 20th November 1993 at Nkokonjeru, Mbarara, in accordance with the customs and tradtions of the Ankole Crown. Ruhinda was the first Omugabe of Ankore Kingdom. Ruhinda was a son of Ndahura, the last King of the Bachwezi.

5.Bagyendanwa, the royal drum of Ankole monarchy, arbitrary confiscated in 1967, to-date is still illegally held by the present Govt of Uganda led by President Museveni.

6.The Ankore royal regalia comprises spears like the , the Nyamiringa spear still held by the Govt of Uganda

7.This traditional musical of Ankore is called Ekondere. The plural is amakondere. The amakondere were only blown and played when in the presence of omugabe, the hereditary monarch of the Ankole. The Ankole royal ensemble was composed of amakondere players, rhythmically supported by the engalabi and engoma drums. The players were permanent court musicians,abakondere, who always came from the same families; it was considered an honour to be a court musician

8.This flute called "Omubanda" is a traditional mouth musical for the Banyankore people. It is a taboo in the Ankole culture for women to play the omubanda. The omubanda is a popular solo instrument but it is also played in combination with drums, rattles and singing.At the court of Buzimba, a flutist duo was formed that played outstandingly as an ensemble. The duo was rhythmically accompanied by the royal drums of Buzimba
