Uganda People`s Congress [UPC] leaders and members from Lango region who crossed Karuma Falls on Thursday on a steamy mission to get money from President Yoweri Museveni finally accomplished their dream on Friday night.

The meeting that was exclusively reported by this website at planning stage, was supposed to take place on Sunday but due to President Museveni`s scheduled travel abroad on Saturday, the meeting was rewound to Friday.

The 53-strong team led by former Lira District Woman Member of Parliament Margret Ateng Otim and Florence Okello Olong the former Woman MP aspirant for Oyam district reached Kampala on Thursday at noon and headed straight to Pope Paul Memorial Rubaga where they spent that night.

On Thursday night the group did not sleep but held meetings up to morning drawing "super" strategies on how to milk cash from State House which almost all Ugandans believe you can`t come out of without loaded pockets.

Chimpreports learnt that the group`s sleepless night meeting came out with four solid resolutions to be presented to President Museveni who is also the Chairman of ruling National Resistance Movement party.

First was for Museveni to avail them with figureless cash to start their businesses when they cross Karuma falls back to Lango. The second resolution was another unnamed cash to mobilize for his sole candidate, in the coming 2016 general elections, which the party has already embarked on.

The third resolution also signed by all 53 members, was for Museveni to add more cash to each of them to stand in different political positions in Lango come 2016.

The last resolution was for them to ask the president as the fountain of honor to deliver services direly needed by people in Lango mainly roads including almost impassable Apach road.

Confusion however rocked the meeting when a proposal was made by a section of members that they convert to NRM during Museveni meet. Denis Okwir Jaramogi a common phone call contributor on local radio stations rejected the proposal and many adopted his position.

Our source within the delegation told us, On Friday at 12:30, the group set off from Pope Paul Memorial for State House. They indeed entered the most powerful office at 2:00 armed with their resolutions, only to find the big man busied by other activities.

Finally at half past 10 in the night President Museveni met the group but briefly since more activities were awaiting him. After hearing them for 30 minutes Museveni bid them farewell back to Lango ordering aides around to avail them with cash.

The source, tells us The ring leaders including Ateng Otim, and Florence Okello were handed well stiffed brown envelopes whose contest were yet to be established. Meanwhile the rest of the team leaders were given 300,000 shillings each.
