Military police spokesman dies in accident

Capt. Geoffrey Burushana, the spokesperson of the Military Police has died following a car accident.

Burushana, according to the army spokesperson, Lt. Col. Paddy Ankunda, died hours after a car he was travelling in to Entebbe on Tuesday night was hit by another vehicle at Namasuba.

Ankunda said two UPDF junior officers who were travelling with Burushana to Entebbe sustained injuries in the accident. The cause of the accident had not been established by press time.

Ankunda said they were investigating the circumstances under which the accident occurred. There will be a requiem mass today Thursday.
