{UAH} Urban Development & Local Governments (Hannon Ogwapiti Pix Library)

In Uganda as Hannan Ogwapiti, Concerned G-Citizen and company have shown in the many picture library of dilapidated; schools, hospitals, government buildings, - there appears to be no link between Local Government , Urban Planning , Public Financial Management - exposing this country's to lack of or inefficient delivery of specific services, infrastructure development and urban planning.

Why do;

a. schools,
b. hospitals,
c. government buildings

d. homes

get dilapidated and hence service delivery fails year after year yet there are paid up civil servants in each and every place in Uganda?!

Very important question

In turn to the above observation, it is absolutely clear to me that the government of Uganda has not been able to give civil servants the right tools to keep developing ( they procure instead of working ) hence keeping redundant minds to evil doing.

The above implies: Uganda has no institutional development (people are behind institutions) hence sustainable planning is NIL! In that kind of environment organisational development is impossible.

 

My school www.siup.ac.ug  is now geared to solving this impasse through urban planning, design and make people work for themselves.
