{UAH} Local Language Authors Seek information on Language Boards

Dear Mr Muhereza and other Local Authors in Runyoro-Rutooro

You telephoned me seeking information on the position of Local languages District Language Boards.

You are a bit behind the news. District Language Boards were disolved about five years ago by the NCDC and bigger, regional, Language Boards replaced them.

 A Runyoro-Rutooro Language Board to cater for Bunyoro-Kitara and Tooro was formed in 2009. The NCDC appointed Rev. Isidoro Kakyomya Araali its chairperson.

I, Henry Ford Miirima, am the Acting General Secretary.

So, you are correct to say that the Kiryandongo District Language Board is inactive.
