RE: {UAH} HOW MANY ACHOLIS and LANGIS ARE BiDDING M7s RULE or ARE M7's POODLE

Bobby Musoke

Now that I have a time to ask serious questions that have bothered me a while, to your thinking, why did Buganda Kingdom, one of the oldest not only in Uganda but throughout Africa become such a political prostitute after independence? There are other Kingdoms in Uganda if one were to refer to them as such that did not and have not prostituted themselves:

(1) Bunyoro Kitara
(2) Kyabazinga of Busoga
(3) Jal Osinga of Alur (Balulu)

Now one would like to add Rwoth Acama of Acholi, but this one has a lot of question marks on it because it has several elements of prostitution in it since 1986 when Museveni declared himself Omugabe of Ankole. He has almost incorporated the Acholi into the Hima clan. It is hard to believe that a Kingdom which prides itself of old age 600 years can become a "Malaya" in such a disgraceful manner while other Kingdoms in Africa such as Ashanti of Ghana, Swati of Swaziland and Sotho of Lesotho have retained their dignity. One can as well opine that the collapse of "Ekitibwa kya Buganda, of Baganda" is one of the reasons post-colonial Uganda as a nation has failed to live to its expectations. Allowing "abakopi" Balalo to take command has led to the nightmare we face today.

How has this kingdom agreed its self to go this low?   Just asking !!!!!

Kikafuwe  for Baganda to enter into any sort of alliance with Langis and Acholis to throw out M7.

How many times do you expect Buganda to make the same strategic mistake?

Buganda needs to go solo, those who think you have help to offer like my friend Isaac Balamu  you can keep it.

Buganda needs others and the point I was trying to make to you, if mere building of masilo you ask all of us to contribute then what is this you are taking about going sole. Look Buganda is you and you are free not to recognize others but the majority of  Buganda acknowledges and sees the benefit of togetherness. The reason you have seen what a progressive katikiro has been able to achieve in a short time.
What I tend to observe particularly here in forums is that majority of you guys are twenty years behind where Uganda is. The reason you remain in your shells. Please visit Uganda and stay there for two months you will see.

Mr Isaac Balamu,

Where have you been hiding all this time?

My response to your question about the Katikiro's fund raising efforts for the masiro is the same one I gave to Mr George Okello sometime back when he raised a similar issue.

My response is I do not discuss Buganda issues with non Baganda because I think it is none of your business.

I am sure you have enough issues to attend to in Busoga without trying to inject yourself in Buganda affairs.

Mr Moses Ocen,

I could not find the thread  where you suggest that no tribe in Uganda can achieve their aspirations without alliances.I am going to focus on the aspirations of Buganda.

In my opinion Buganda does not need the help of Luos to achieve its aspirations. The Luos are responsible for a large part of the problems Buganda is going thru and I think it is ridiculous to suggest Buganda makes alliances with people responsible for a lot of its problems.Buganda needs to fly solo on this mission.

If the Luos need  to make alliances I suggest they try their luck in South Sudan.E Buganda twabakowa dda!

My two cents worth.

It is obvious in Uganda today that M7's dictatorship is manned by Ankole/ Kigezi/ Rwanda and Northerners especially Luo's.

What they all have in common is that M7 has accorded them an opportunity

to occupy and colonise Buganda, something they all want.

This is fully noted by those who have

to rectify it.

Chaka;

In an attempt to acquit yourself, you present all evidence of haters: Mbu, my best friend is from Lira, so how can I  be a Lango hater! Racists, especially in US, use similar language: my best friend or bodyguard or chef is black, so I can't possibly hate blacks!

Also, it's obvious from your question that you do not know the history relationship between Jews and Hitler, or, go deeper, the authors and editors of the Workers Party newspaper and its Manifesto.

Chaka;

I see dangerous anti-Acholi streaks in you and my namesake, Edward Mulindwa.

While I do not know your background, Mr. Mulindwa has let us on his intimate association with the Amin regime, to the point that he was present at the scene when Archbishop Luwum and ministers, Erinayo Oryema and Oboth-Ofumbi were assassinated.

Mr. Mulindwa recently told us here that it was he who placed the first telephone call to the family of  Minister Oryema, notifying them about his death.

So, given such an up-close-and-personal relation with Amin, I would consider Mr. Mulindwa an Amin henchman, and therefore, an avid defender of Idi Amin. It's only logical then, that Mr. Mulindwa would find every reason to attack Amin's detractors, especially those who posed the greatest threat to Amin rule; the Acholis.

He does not see, in post-Amin era, any Acholi worth his commendation. I find that to be an obsessive hatred of an entire people, and I condemn it without reservations.

And here you are, singling out the deputy Speaker for condemnation, simply because he serves or served under President Museveni, who you call a killer of Acholi/Langi people. I think you would rather Acholi and Lango folks boycott the Museveni regime en masse, turn down every single appointment offered them.

If that is your wish, it's thoughtless and juvenile.

I've said this before and it's worth repeating: no single Ugandan president has been without blame for loss of lives, destruction of property or major corruption.

While thousands of Ugandans died during Idi Amin's era, I maintain that Amin did not kill 300,000 people that we keep hearing about; but he did some killings. Same thing with Obote, and Museveni.

By the same token, it does not help anyone for Mr. Mulindwa to launch a brazen, callous campaign to  sanitize or deny Amin's atrocities. Or for you to fault Mr. Oulanya for being elected deputy Speaker, simply because Museveni has killed thousands of Acholis.

Our history is checkered and bloody; let's be rational when appropriating blames, or seeking out solutions so that we don't repeat it for the next generation.
