SAI is an incorporated Canadian not-for-profit organization and primarily a think-tank dedicated to development, governance and policy alternatives in Africa. We draw on grassroots experiences, strengthening community organisations, developing grassroots an national policy proposals, and engaging in public advocacy.

SAI`s mission is to promote forms of social and economic development which aim at reducing poverty, hardship and vulnerability such as in gender bias, regional health and food security imbalances as well investments. We strive for recognition and protection of fundamental equality, health care for all, good governance, food, shelter, education, and human rights. SAI believes these rights are the essential foundation for freedom, justice, peace and development therefore, it seeks to advance equal access to opportunity, self-expression and human services.
