{UAH} Update on 2013 Annual Meeting and finances

A few weeks ago, several members of UNAA petitioned the Executives to call a Special Meeting of UNAA within 45 days, to address the current state of UNAA.  The 45 days expire on Dec 20, 2014.
When the 45 days expire, we will request a court in Massachusetts to authorize the members to call a Special Meeting.
On Nov 10, 2014, UNAA's President (Brian Kwesiga) filed a Certificate of Change of Officers in Massachusetts and indicated that UNAA last held an annual meeting on August 31, 2014 (see document below).
But on Sept 16, 2014, UNAA's de facto leader, Mr Moses Wilson, had informed everyone via email, that UNAA cancelled a Special Meeting scheduled for Aug 31, 2014 because there was no quorum.  He added that a town-hall meeting open to anyone was held instead.
I attended the gathering (the "town-hall meeting") and I agree with Mr Wilson that it was an informal gathering. Just one topic was addressed and Mr Wilson said that "For all intents and purposes, there was only one topic of discussion in this meeting "
No minutes were kept (UNAA's Secretary, Aisha Ogwang) kept moving in and out of the room.  The same for the President and all other Executives. No one chaired it.
Though Mr Kwesiga had promised to show us the 2013 Dallas financial documents and contracts at that meeting, no documents were shown to members, at least not in my presence.
As members, we want to know what happened to our money in 2013 and 2014. As of today, we are almost in December and we still have not seen any explanation for the missing 2014 financial documents. We also want our association to run under a lawful document.
Therefore, a Special Meeting is needed as soon as possible to address the financial situation in UNAA, inform members that the 2010 constitution is not lawful and also address other matters that members want to address.
thanks

2014 UNAA CONVENTION – DAY 3 (Part 1)
The events of this day were too many to cover in one posting.  So I have broken them into two separate communications.
The next major event of the day was the scheduled "Special Meeting" of the Association which was open only to officially registered members.  However, the meeting did not attract a quorum of registered members and so a decision was made to turn it into a Town Hall meeting open to all convention attendees.  For all intents and purposes, there was only one topic of discussion in this meeting – the ongoing division within UNAA leadership that had resulted in the creation of a competing organization and convention.  The discussions ranged widely with views being very freely expressed by supporters from both sides.  At the end, 4 concerned participants in the meeting volunteered to meet with the leaders of the competing organization and seek a resolution.  Eventually this small ad hoc committee grew to 5 of whom 2 were UNAA members and the other 3 were concerned friends and well-wishers from the community (all five were registered delegates at the UNAA Convention).
