{UAH} Planning Kampala is Not Enough
Currently there is about fourteen municipalities in Uganda.
One Capital City - Kampala There aught to be some form of basis why towns become towns, municipalities and then city councils. I can't envisage how in the near future Uganda will sustainably fund these towns unless taxes will be 70%!
Anyhow, if we consider the fact that urban settlement mean excavation and raping nature, that is to say we bring in the element of environmental conservation and ecological preservation - commonsense will suggest we limit the number of towns - just imagine Kawempe, Kawanda, Matugga, Bombo, Wobulenzi, Kasana, Luwero, Kakoge a distance of less 60 km all becoming town councils and having six mayors, town clerks etc - Kampala, Nakawa, Banda Byeyogere, Mukono
Shouldn't we start asking questions if it is alright to have Nyendo when Masaka has its boundaries?
Should Njeru become a municipality besides Jinja?
