{UAH} Pope Francis enables Cuba and USA to finally reconcile!

The world is saluting Pope Francis who yesterday turned 78 and thousands of
tango dancers poured in St Peter's Square to show their affection to him when they
almost endlessly danced for hours...! And now thousands of messages from all over the
world are pouring in the Vatican to thank the Pope for having used all his diplomatic wits
and smart philosophy to help bring reconciliation between USA and Cuba that have been belligerent
nations for over fifty years!
Pope Francis has used the card of his tremendous world popularity to strike this deal. President Obama
was the very first person to request him to use his global influence to help the USA overcome this Cuba
problem. Then Cuba's Raoul Castro also came in requesting the Pope to do something in thiks regard for the
good of Cuba which has suffered so much from the embargo imposed on the island nation 50 year ago.
The Pope on receiving each one of the two Presidents at the Vatican insisted on one thing that could give a
genuine solution to the problem, and that was the logic of seeing things move forward without any hesitation
on such and such a point. In other words he wanted each side to commit itself to a certain degree of heroism.
And this is what has enabled the brave coming together for a final solution and once for all. And the two leaders
have thanked the Pope for having driven them to this sense of concrete maturity. Pope Francis also secretly brought
in other actors who helped him know better the two leaders. the cuban Episcopal conference was once recently summoned
to the Vatican and secretly questioned on many issues involving the attitude of Raoul Castro on certain questions
on the matter. Their view was crucial in helping the Pope create that logical stand which has put to an end a very thorny
global issue that has been a real pain to most of the international community. The Pope also used the same approach
on USA when he summoned expert knowledgeable persons on the Cuban issue and its implications to USA's politics
and diplomacy. And he got good results. And finally each belligerent side felt encouraged to act without any fear, since the
globally very popular Pope was now standing between them as a sure guarantee for each one's success. So the two leaders
began phoning each other very confidently and they agreed on the release of prisoners, the establishment of a diplomatic
mission at ambassadorial level on each one's territory, the movement of currency, the question of tourists and visa delivery,
the revival of the cigar industry, investment, and other socio-politico-economic questions. And the question of the embargo
was left to President Obama who is expected to lift it by 2017 but before that date many things in the economy will have been
tackled and left to die a natural death and with them the embargo itself.will also naturally vanish and melt into thin air.
Pope Francis having scored here will now be in very strong position to enforce Vatican diplomacy as a real actor on the world scene.
With nunciatures ( Vatican embassies) spread all over the globe and doing very well since they are run by very intelligent
prelates and scholarly priests, the Pope will be able to act more and more even in problem nations. The USA-Cuban card is now
a natural passport for him to enter any country on the globe as a true friend and he won't fail to profit from it! he is already now well seen
in the Middle East, and is looked at with confidence in Communist China, so Pope Francis, with all his weighty popularity, will indeed
achieve so much for today's troubled world. And his firm attitude and strong position on many key issues for which he has been marked as the
best articulator is drawing more and more thje international community to him, and this is what played a role in attracting Cuba's Raoul Castro to the Vatican!
