A top South Sudan rebel movement general has vowed to crush Uganda`s national army, UPDF if the force does not peacefully withdraw from their nation which has been engulfed in a bloodiest internal war since independence late last year.
Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth, the military governor of tense Upper Nile state in his words said they (rebels) would not beg the UPDF to leave but are ready to use all weapons at their disposal to dislodge the strong Ugandan force which prevented the collapse of a state a possible mass genocide in December last year when the war broke out.
The rebel generals and other officers of the movement also known as SPLA- In Opposition have been holding a consultative meeting on the continuous on-and-off peace talks with their leader Dr. Riek Machar and their peace delegation, IGAD officials and foreign envoys in Pagak.

The presence of UPDF in South Sudan is among the crucial items in the security matrix of the regional body, IGAD led peace talks.
"We cannot beg foreign troops to leave our land. If they don't want to leave peacefully we will force them to leave with spears and sticks, with stones and everything in our disposal. Gen. Gatkuoth said.
The general, who has been commanding the rebel operation against the SPLA Juba regime forces in Upper Nile, also bragged of themselves being the only African nation that defeated colonization with the exception of Ethiopia.
"Someone should tell them that even the then strongest power, British didn't colonize us." Gen. Gatkuoth bragged.
UPDF entered Juba on 18th December, three days when the war had just broken to evacuate the majority Ugandan citizens and foreign nationals who were trapped in a heavy armed blood bath.
