Another Rwandan Woman Dies in United States
Hardly a month after Lynker Kabera succumbed to wounds sustained from a road accident in Dallas, United States, another Rwandan woman has passed away.
Sandra Ineza, who was involved in the same car crash with Kabera in December 2013, was pronounced dead at a medical facility in Texas on January 1.
ChimpReports understands that Rwandans in United States are currently mobilising resources to repatriate the body.
Government officials have as well been contacted to give a helping hand.
"Dear friends, the DFW Rwandan community in Texas is very saddened to announce the death of another sister, daughter and our friend Sandra Ineza that occurred last night, January 1st, 2015," reads an online statement by the deceased's friends.
"Sandra Ineza is a young lady who was among the 9 Rwandans involved in the car accident the night of Dec ember 14 in Dallas, Texas. As you are all aware, this is a second loss in our community due to the same horrible accident that took the life of our beloved sister Lynker Kabera two weeks ago."
The statement further adds that, "We are once again appealing to your kindness and generosity. We ask you to please keep Sandra's family in your prayers while they go through these sad times. Also keep the other six who survived and still going through the recovery process in your prayers as well."
Rwandans in Diaspora said it has been "hard and difficult times" for our community and all families of the young men and women who were involved in this tragic car accident.
"DFW Rwandan community is asking our community members, friends, relatives and anyone who have been with us since the beginning to continue your kind support to the families involved through your prayers and financial support. Thank you for your endless support in this matter."
