Dear Colleague,
The World Bank Robert S. McNamara Fellowship Program awards fellowships of up to $25,000 annually for developing country PhD candidates to conduct innovative, development-related, doctoral research under the supervision of a research advisor at a host institution abroad.
As Program Manager, I am reaching out to you for your kind assistance in getting the word out in our client countries, targeting the highest quality institutions among universities and research centers, and disseminating through relevant professional networks. We are looking particularly for lecturers and researchers working in academic or research institutions in developing countries and currently enrolled in PhD programs.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the most promising researchers in developing countries to advance their doctoral research with the best advisors and host institutions in their field of study around the world. Please find attached an electronic flyer in various languages that you can use to disseminate the call.
More detailed information including eligibility criteria and instructions for preparing an application are available on the World Bank Scholarships Program website. The link to the online application form will be available on the website during the application period, from January 7 to February 11, 2015. Potential applicants may also contact us at rsm_fellowships@worldbank.org.
Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.
Best Regards,
Theresa
