{UAH} IDDI AMIN NEVER TARGETED LANGIs/ACHOLIs, THEY TARGETED HIM {---Series Seventy-five}

There is a whole lot of sell of we must forget the past history of Uganda and focus on the future. When I took a time to write about The Luwero war that directly affected me, I was called a very angry man that is so unproductive but destructive. And yet what Acholi have done is to rampage our country with violence we have never seen in our lives, because they are not answerable to anyone. Let me at this point raise the example of Teso, Iteso have been the very people that simply never cared what damage Acholi did in any part of the country. When they murdered so many innocent Ugandans in West Nile, Iteso were laughing their backs off wondering where West Nile was. When Acholi murdered so many innocent Ugandans in Luwero district, the Iteso were laughing their backs off wondering where Luwero district was. When Acholi were terrorizing Kampala, Iteso simply didn't care. But time came when Iteso were also attacked and badly terrorized by the very same people, Acholi. And below are two direct quotes that I have pulled out of the study that was done in Eastern Uganda to prove my point that Iteso have taken a sip out of the Acholi violence cup. These are quotes from an ISIS-WICC Research Report with financial support from Henrich Boll Foundation {For the Soroti and Kumi study, 2000} and Action Aid Uganda {For the Katakwi study 2001} The paper is called Documentation of Teso Women's experience of armed conflict 1987 -2001 Page 67. The term FGD means Focus Group Discussion.
"Another problem that I have seen common with many people, and even with me is that when I hear a gun shot, I get diarrhea straight away, and my heart beat increases, sometimes I even collapse, and this just comes from nowhere, it just happens. And when gunshots continue, my chest just goes on pounding, it is happening to me even right now. I never used to have this problem in the past…….. It is the gun that I think that has caused this problem because every time I hear a gun shot, my stomach becomes hot, makes noise and I get diarrhea. I even faint, and my body remains shacking for some time."

"…….He got a mental breakdown after he was severally beaten by the rebels {Acholi}. He now isolates himself. He does not want to be with other people. If we went there now, we would definitely find him alone. He does not want to be in the company of other people."

My question is very simple this Sunday morning, why have we all agreed to live with Acholi violence all our lives? Yes we agreed to live with it, for we have all along refused to take a stand. For look at this, when they show up at our homes and rape our wives we take the wives to hospitals get treated and we keep quite. When they rape our children we take them to hospitals get treated and keep quite. When they park army trucks on our homes to loot our property and drive it into Acholi land, we keep quite but replace it. When they loot our cows and goats we keep quiet and replace them. When they murder so many innocent people as they so did in Obalanga Sub-County, we raise up and dig mass graves and bury them but keep quiet, Acholi simply walk away free people. They have fade on the Ugandan's complacency way long that right now they have attacked murdered and raped their fellow Acholi too. There is a story of children in Acholi land refusing to live on the same village that those that trained them to murder fellow children live. For fuck sakes we have Acholi that trained girls as young as 8 years on how to cut other children's heads off, and they are walking free in Uganda and we are letting them live with the children they trained. That is the kind of breeding ground of violence we have handed to Acholi for free. At what point do we take a stand to this violence? At what point do we raise Acholi violence to a national crisis and we start to pass some serious laws to combat it? Just how much havoc do Acholi have to do to raise our attention if what why have done so far is not good enough for you to take such steps? And you are still bleating how we need to forget the past, but build the future? Do these quotes come from people you expect to sit with Acholi really?
The population is fade up with Acholi violence why aren't you? >Yes especially you.
