{UAH} Kenya's audits of public jobs by tribes
Folks;
One of the positive outcomes to emerge from the ashes of the post-election violence of 2007/08 was the creation of several governmental bodies to work towards ensuring that every Kenyan feels welcome and accepted in government employment.
One such body was tasked with ensuring that employment in Kenya was conducted in such a transparent manner that anyone seeking to verify the tribal breakdown of civil servants could easily access this information.
Here is the latest annual audit of how Kenya hires by tribes. But, as Winston Churchill famously said of statistics, you can give two statisticians the same data, and get two different readings!
However, the Kenyans deserve my praise for making a determined effort to be open about their tribal affirmative actions.
