Sejusa's home surrounded by military police
Military police has surrounded the Kampala Naguru home of Gen David Sejusa.
Our reporter at the scene narrates that two trucks with military police arrived at Sejusa's home in Naguru but did not enter the house, a few minutes after midday, one of the trucks left.
Journalists have been stopped from taking pictures or even come closer to the gate. Meanwhile the reason for the military presence is not yet known, and neither is the state of the renegade general.
Sejusa's Lawyer, Mr Ladislaus Rwakafuzi who is also available at the premises has tried several times to reach the General's cell phone but in vain. However, army Spokesperson Lt Col Paddy Ankunda says that there is no cause for alarm.
"The General is alive and that's what he has always wanted, he said he feared for his life, so there is no cause for alarm" He said before adding gravely that he has no more comments to make on the events.
Update
12:58: Happening now: Journalists have been told to leave the premises completely, while military police remains deployed.
