The White House says U.S. President Barack Obama will veto the controversial Keystone XL pipeline legislation if passed by Congress. The bipartisan legislation, which is sponsored by 54 Republicans and six Democrats, was expected to be introduced later today.

The pipeline would go from the Alberta oil sands to the U.S. Gulf Coast.
