4.An Arabic translation from the seventh century of Ptolemy's "Almagest" - originally written in the second century CE. During the Muslim golden age of science, ancient Greek, Persian, and Indian books were translated into Arabic at major centers of knowledge such as Baghdad.
Bagdhad was te most beautiful city in the world under te muslim rule until it was looted by te mongols... All the works of our scholars were destroyed along with the Library.Our predecessors appreciated and preserved the works of knowledge very well, word by word with their utmost efforts. However most of us now do not appreciate nor keen to seriously study the inherited work of knowledge from our predecessors. Even some of us consider some of well known scholars/scientists deviated or heresy. We are disconnected from our past.
