UAH is secular, intellectual and non-aligned politically, culturally or religiously email discussion group.

SV: {UAH} Gwoks what does boro or bwo mean in luo?

Not so fast!!!

As you know, Acoli language is not yet developed enough. Reason: Most of the boks to that effect were authored by non-Acoli.

"BORO" is a cave. But it could also mean "praise" (superlatives)

"BWO" also translates as " DEFEAT" or to over come.

NET is OBWO.

Nothing as "boro" but "bor" is for "far"

"Bwo" is "net" including hunting, fishing and mosquito nets.
