{UAH} Best Village in Uganda!

With the celebrations of the International Women's day due in a few days, I would like to introduce you to 'probably the best' village in Uganda, or the world for that matter.
Nestled on the border between Dokolo and Apac districts, 30 kilometres on the Lira-Soroti highway and another 13 kilometres from Agwata town is the village of Amonoloco, in Adok Parish of Dokolo district.
Amonoloco means "where women are better than men", or "where women defeated men".
It is in George Okello's Dokolo District. In many countries, journalists and all sorts of media crew and women's groups would be trooping to Amonoloco, to write its story or celebrate its uniqueness, but again we are in Uganda and Africa. I drove there a few days ago just for the fun of it and loved going there and mingling with the locals. I never asked the people why and how the village became so named, hoping our press would do so sometime.
Long live Amonoloco!, "where women are better than men".
