DID YOU KNOW ~ Amazing Facts About WATER.
1. Around the globe one billion people don't have access to safe drinking water.
2. Do you know that many girls in developing countries cannot attend school because they are responsible for gathering domestic water and schools lack separate toilet facilities according to the World Water Development Report.
3. You will be shocked to know that a child dies from contaminated water every eight seconds.
4. It is sad to hear that each year twenty-five million people die from contaminated water, which is approximately equal to the entire population of Canada.
5. In developing countries, contaminated or impure water is the leading cause of epidemics.
