My friends,
I will be away for a few days from wednesday as I will visit
Mindanao. I have been a Barangay (Village) Captain in my neighbourhood
for the past two years and have to hand over to a successor as my term
has ended. Unlike Museveni, I respect term limits, and despite appeals
to continue for another term, I feel one term is enough, so the
responsibility can pass on to another responsible person in the
village, and so that leadership becomes a shared experience. I wish
Uganda also elected their local leaders, instead of having the bogus
LCs which are no different from spying adjuncts of the NRA and
parasites on the people.
Edward Mulindwa, I have left you with a few tasks- I await their completion.
