{UAH} UNAA Finances - The True Picture

Dear Mr. Muwanga:

Those records are not entered in UNAA's QuickBooks where We pulled the numbers that we presented.

That is not surprising though, there is reason the UNAA Members have not received the UNAA Philadelphia 2012 Convention Financial Report.

The UNAA Dallas 2013 Financial Report has been produced.

The UNAA San Diego 2014 Financial Report has been produced.

And I Suspect that the UNAA New Orleans 2015 Financial Report will be produced before the UNAA Philadelphia 2012 Financial Report is produced.

Since you were not on the UNAA leadership at the time, I presume someone passed those numbers to you. Can you please ask them to produce that report?

I am sure those sponsorship numbers will look great look on the report and those who were wrongly accused of causing a financial loss to UNAA can be vindicated.

FYI:
I noticed that throughout the last two years UNAACauses was railing against the $20,000 the Uganda Government gives UNAA but you now very proudly list that $20,000 as an achievement.

Since we have chosen to be honest and come out of the closet, I have a little confession of mine to make.

The Uganda Government Sponsorship will increase from $20,000 to $100,000 per year effective with the New Orleans Convention.

Let me put that into perspective;
Combine the sponsorships from Denver and DC, then you begin to get to $100,000 (From One sponsor)

Put another way, combine the Uganda Sponsorship from the previous five years then you achieve what New Orleans will single handedly my achieve.

Looks like 'My reign of terror' and my  'Antagonism' has worked out just fine.

All is well that ends well my brother, really.

Mr.Kwesiga,

Your snapshot of the previous three years deliberately omits thousands of sponsorship funds raised in Philadelphia, I'm curious on why you have doctored the Philly numbers once again.

Members below are Philadelphia Sponsors in 2012.

1- 3M                                                                             $ 5000
2- Western Union                                                          $ 5500
3- Pennsylvania Convention Center                             $ 20,183
4- A US University                                                        $ 1000
5- UMEME - Uganda                                                    $ 10,0000
6- The Uganda Government                                         $ 20,000
7- Airline sponsors  (air tickets)  for over                       $ 4000

UNAA Philadelphia received over $ 65,683 in sponsorship yet Mr. Kwesiga is claiming only $ 22,420. I will give him an opportunity to explain why he is still misleading us.

In 2007 Mr. Moses Wilson lost the election and won our hearts because of the way he carried himself.
We have challenged Mr.Wilson and all your supporters to respect the 5-2 Board of Trustees rulings, we hope Mr. Wilson and your supporters will counsel you about the damage done to UNAA during your reign of terror. Our efforts for a transparent UNAA are continuing and not only limited to you but all those that have contempt for our constitution.

In Denver 2011, Mr. Wilson will agree with me that the sole efforts of Mr. Ronnie Mayanja brought UNAA all the sponsorship except the funds from the Uganda government. I still give him credit for having the wisdom to not antagonize Mr. Mayanja's efforts.

Sincerely,

David Muwanga.

Dear Mr. Muwanga:

I am not obsessed with Philadelphia, the report was just a snapshot of the previous THREE conventions; San Diego 2014, Dallas 2013, Philadelphia 2012.

Here are the UNAA Corporate Sponsorship over the years.

But now that you mention the other years, let's examine them as well.

San Diego 2014            -    $32,500
Dallas 2013                   -    $35,000
Philadelphia 2012          -    $22,420
Denver 2011                  -    $57,300
Washington DC 2010    -    $40,500

You claim that Philadelphia is my benchmark, yet from your email it is very clear that you see Denver & Washington DC as your benchmarks. It is indeed poetic justice considering that the man you spent the whole last two years vilifying; Mr. Moses R. Wilson, was UNAA President 2009-2011 and presided over Washington DC 2010 and Denver 2011. It is testament to his leadership skills that he was able to put together a team in DC and Denver that delivered such results. Wouldn't you agree?

Do you even know what you stand for in life? Do you even know what you want?

San Diego was an especially difficult convention to solicit sponsorship given the polarization and confusion that was going on, it was a turn off for many sponsors.

It is indeed a testament to the team efforts that we were even able to achieve what we did. Let me explain, the Chairman of the UNAABOT, Dr. Muniini Mulera was personally calling sponsors asking them not to sponsor UNAA. Many were puzzled and called me asking what is going on.

He in fact personally lobbied the Uganda Government and wrote to them not to sponsor UNAA, so it is understandable why he resigned after his efforts to disrupt the convention and organization failed. He in addition personally called stalwart UNAA Members asking them to register at the Marriott and not the Hyatt.

For all the things that him and Dr. Opiyo Oloya wrote about me in the newspapers, I would have expected them to have the moral courage to stand in front on the UNAA Members who elected me and repeat those false accusations to my face as opposed to writing silly articles as if they had a monopoly on the meda. I was deeply disappointed by by their cowardice moves.

Many of the sponsors, while they were not willing to sponsor because of the confusion, attended as regular guests and observed. After they came and visited both hotels, the Marriott, and Hyatt, they were able to discern who the serious group was and who the trouble Causers were.

Rest be assured, the sponsorship for New Orleans will break records, after many of them personally assured me and apologized for being misled. As you are already aware; we have already increased sponsorship for New Orleans to historic highs.

My brother, i wish you nothing but good luck in your life, and I prayer that God will grant you a very long long time.

UNAA has moved on, and so have the UNAA Members, I wish you the very best - truly in the New York Festival as you continue your moral cause against the 'Kwesiga Dictatorship'

UNAA Members,

A summary of UNAA finances for fiscal years 2014 and 2013 show a troubling trend and Mr. Kwesiga's ineptitude to comprehend the obvious is shocking.

We have lost all North American corporate sponsors since Mr. Kwesiga came aboard (Dallas and San Diego),his administration also has no sponsorship gains in Uganda, actually we have lost more Ugandan corporate sponsorship during Mr. Kwesiga's dictatorship than any other time in UNAA history.

The bench mark for the current leadership is all about Philadelphia but the Dallas Convention received an appalling $ 35,000 in sponsor ship and this abysmal performance continued  to San Diego with only $ 32,500 in sponsorship all under Kwesiga's stewardship.

In 2011 UNAA received over $ 60,000 in sponsorship, all this goodwill has been lost because of Mr. Kweisaga's style of leadership, this group is like a chameleon always changing colors.
We are yet to get an explanation on how UNAA CAUSES a pressure group managed to upstage Mr. Kwesiga in San Diego by significantly lowering the Convention registration to a fixed $ 160.00.

Mr. Kwesiga needs to stop his obsession with Philadelphia and look at other UNAA success stories like DC 2010, then  he will acknowledge how he is a liability to UNAA.

Sincerely,

David Muwanga.
