When he was in exile in London, Sejusa described Museveni's regime as corrupt and said that Museveni rules through patronage and blackmail to some extent.Sejusa also revealed that Museveni and his NRM have been rigging elections and falsefying results.Sejusa also apologised for some excesses done by him during his service in UPDF, and declared, he wanted a new beginning.And he has also criticised Museveni for holding army officers hostages in UPDF, when he retired hmiself and his brother Salim Saleh.After returning from exile, he continued on the same path,was gagged by the regime on condition that he wiits for his retirement , and after the 90 days, he continued with exact the same criticism he made in London and even more explicit.

To those who know Sejusa very well, he has resisted Museveni's patronage and injustice from the days in Luweero bushes, when he was denied some rights and he planned to stage a revolt against Museveni. He was jailed in an underground prison for over 18 months,only to be released when Colonel Ogole attacked their headquarters,.I DOUBT WHETHER THAT TIME HE WAS OPPOSING MUSEVENI, SO THAT HE GOES TO SPY ON "OPPOSITION",, Also in 1996, he made similar challenge to Museveni and it was the supreme Court that hindered his efforts.From then he lived like Museveni's hostage, until now when he said enough is enough and he is ready to face his former master head-on.
I have opposed this regime for so long and I have seen moles,jokers, weak people,confusing agents, BUT I BELIEVE THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A SUPPORTER OF SEJUSA TO KNOW THAT HE IS NOT ANY OF THOSE.

FROM TODAY, I WILL EMBLACE HIS POLITICAL MESSAGES AND GIVE THEM COVERAGE.REMEMBER AT THE END OF THE DAY THAT SOON DR. BESIGYE WILL RECLAIM HIS PRESIDENCY THAT WAS STOLEN BY MUSEVENI .
