Infact a Lake shore special tax will act as an incentive for poor beach investment i.e. those dotted all along the Entebbe Airport road to seek joint ventures, reinvest i.e. RIDO Beach! which has existed since the 70s with very little transformation and others in Entebbe compared to world class Protea Hotel .

Districts hosting these shorelines should be give marching orders to pass this as a by-law.

There are other simiral investments all along Lake Victoria in Jinja, Luzira, Gaba, Munyonyo so poorly managed and organised which need a huge tax to force these business to diversify,reinvest their ernomous profits harvested every year into world class business and facilities to attract further water and marine business growth.

Lake shores, water and marine business investments also be organised to understand the sector's impact on the economy. I hope this can generate several tens of thousand of jobs - since Serena and Speke Resort has several thousand jobs at their investments in Munyonyo alone.

This is the trend world over - building and aquiring land along shorelines calls for special taxation, investment and buildings certficate rights - so that the rich can have total peace of mind.

Reduce taxation on household neccessisties; soap, paraffin etc
