For the record. I want you to be aware that the policies running NRM were drafted here in Toronto. The very introduction of Chakamuchaka in Uganda was introduced in the NRM agenda again here in Toronto. By non other than Bakulu Mpagi Wamala a man who wrote all those policies before NRM even came to power. And there are those of us who not only opposed those institutions but vehemently debated them with him for we knew the danger/s they would bring into our nation. Yes I am taking about days before even the name Konny hit the streets of Uganda. Before even a single shot was ever fired in northern Uganda. Yes the days when it was even illegal to publicly state that there is a war in northern Uganda. For stating so in Uganda papers or on Ugandanet would be committing public suicide. There are those of us who made predictions that have all but come true in our own eyes to the very last word. So on and with that back ground, if I ask a very simple question of whether we have a man in northern Uganda called Konny today, I am not asking from a point of ignorance. And as I stated before, one can be in Toronto when he is actually very close to Uganda affairs than you in Gulu. A statement which Gwanga used to call me an Acholi. And did you say that Museveni never called Northerners biological substance? Oh please leave that statement in this forum, never make it again out side this forum. Please. Em Toronto |
