{UAH} Dr. Kiiza Besigye's James Bond stunts

Museveni's security apparatus has oftentimes detained Dr Kizza Besigye inside his house in Luzira, and Kasangati in order to frustrate his agitation plans against government.

However, Besigye managed to make fools of past tight security that was manned by former intelligence chief Maj General Noble Mayombo (RIP) and escaped from his residence in Luzira.

To pull off the stunt, Besigye jumped in his wife Eng. Winnie Byanyima's gomesi (ethnic Ugandan women garb) before passing by the stupefied security onward to his escape.

By the time Museveni called Mayombo to tell him Besigye had escaped from him, Kifeefe was up in the sky flying to South Africa. Besigye pulled off the daring escape in the aftermath of the 2011 elections which he lost to the incumbent President Museveni.

Besigye has also pulled off movie-style escapes from police manning all exits to his Kasangati house and farm in the past. On such occasions, police deployed to man Besigye's home only get to know of his escape from news is relayed on FM radios' quoting the man addressing rallies away from Kasangati.
