{UAH} Hon. Kyambadde : Machine Design and Production

Uganda need a fully fledged institute for machine design, processing and production. NRM tried this but their attention was on the military YET food processing, motor design, tools, forest and agricultural machine all consumes a huge amount of money in foreign exchange.

The sooner we have such an establishment to train but also in real production the better. No machine should be imported unless it cannot be fabricated locally.  Increase the taxes

Transforming and Developing a nation is not a bed of roses it is tear and sweat and Uganda must stop importing almost everything which can actually give jobs to many youth.

Sweden is survivinng despite total lack of resources due to small scale electro-mecho tool and machine production. Check alfa lavar or suppliers to jas grippen, bofos, volvo and saab scania - they all swedish small scale industries.

Today as I write Katwe is almsot dead - what a pity!
