Newly wed nominated MP Isaac Mwaura spared no costs as he took his wife to an exotic Indonesian island for their honeymoon, days after an exquisite wedding in Nairobi.

The MP took his new wife Nelius Mukami to the Island of Bali, one of Indonesia's high-end tourist destinations, renowned for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs.

Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, is also known for its yoga and meditation retreats.

The ODM nominated MP shared photos of the two love birds enjoying the sights and sounds of one of the most expensive tourist destinations in the world.

The cheapest return flight from Nairobi to the Indonesian capital Denpasar for two costs about Sh450, 000. Bali is located 13 kilometres from the capital city.

Accommodation in the island's high-end hotels costs upwards of Sh50,000 per night and as low as  Sh10,000 for ordinary motels.

The couple got married in an exquisite wedding in Nairobi on June 27 and were later hosted at State House, Nairobi, by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In the photos of their honeymoon, the couple is seen sampling the local cuisine, as well as donning  traditional attires of the different ethnic groups found on the island.

very high education. We can call Obote all bad names we have, but the bottom line remains that he got more scholarships for Buganda than all previous Uganda leaders combined. That includes Sir Edward Mutesa, President Lule, President Binayisa, up to and into Ssabasajja Mutebi. Who all happen to be Baganda leaders." Mulindwa
