Sejusa threatens to use force against Museveni

Gen David Sejusa
Free Uganda chairman, David Sejusa, has addressed the gathering of
Democratic Party delegates meeting at Katomi Kingdom Hotel.
Sejusa, repeated that former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC)
President, Kizza Besigye, won the 2006 elections.
However, the Electoral Commission, responsible for announcing the
election results, was intimidated into declaring the incumbent
President Yoweri Museveni the winner.
Sejusa says that he realises he let the country down during his
service as a Uganda Peoples Defence Forces officer.
He says he wishes to make up for his mistakes by helping the
opposition coalition to ouster Museveni, who he helped bring into
power in a five year bush war.
Sejusa says that if President Museveni opts to leave power peacefully,
then the opposition will be peaceful.
"However, if he decides to impose himself on the country and use
force, I am ready to use force too," Sejusa promised.
Sejusa also says that President Museveni is being dishonest in
claiming that Uganda is set to become a first world country.
Sejusa says that in the 30 years Museveni has been in power, Ugandans
instead cannot produce their own shoes, their own clothes, have no
factories and rely on exporting and wearing dead Europeans clothes.
Speaking to the delegates at the same event, former Vice President
Gilbert Bukenya Gilbert said that the government is desperately
creating new districts in an effort to bolster more support for the
NRM which is dwindling.
Bukenya has asked DP members to stop fighting internally because they
need to concentrate on fighting their common enemy who he labelled the
"the yellow dictator".
