{UAH} The esteemed Judges waffled and wimbled about on Bride price!

The Ruling of the Supreme Court on Bride Price while a good step in the right direction left a bright pink elephant in the room that will continue to cause much pain to women and men in Uganda.  They should have come out outright and banned Bride Price!  Now it means some of the die hard communities that still hold strongly to this practice, can sell their daughters but the only difference is that those who buy can now no longer get a refund.  Ban Bride Price yesterday.  Giving of gifts by individuals is a world wide practice that needs no legislation.
