An Inadequacy of the UPC Party Anti - OLARA Otunnu groups from 2010 and before

FIRST, fellow Congress folks, I have kept quiet since the late 2014 not for inability to communicate. My silence is informed by a concern that since Comrade OLARA Otunnu was elected there were those who started fighting him as an outsider. The vivid image I had was that may be OLARA Otunnu was a child of a peasant, and not from some very known family in Uganda politics, generated all the venom such as that a poor neighbour is stealing our wealth. YES, I think, the one popularized agenda that appeared to cover all other fears was that OLARA Otunnu had a political baggage called: 'Acoli toppled the UPC government in 1986'.  I assert this here because it also hides the sins of those who started spraying bombs in the residential homes targeting UNLA military officers, of Acoli origin, which catapulted the overthrow of the second UPC government. WELL, I think OLARA Otunnu must carry his cross if there existed any concrete and solid evidence of his culpability.  Me thinks, however, that OLARA should not be condemned under some dubious jurisprudence – ala – Acoli guilt of the two late Military Generals, namely Okello Bazilio and Tito who took parts in the UNLA military takeover of the second UPC government. There is no evidence so far that Acoli nation voted for the Okello's or the Military to remove the very government they were central to putting into power.

Let us recall that both Okellos, for all their later-day sins, are now Acoli, however, they were too the very foot soldiers whose men and women walked from OWINY Kibul in South Sudan through Somalia to Tabora in Tanzania to fight against dictator Amin in Uganda.  Good damn it, the later day Yoga saints, such as 'Opon-Acak'; 'John Ogole', et al were top military and security specialists in the dictator Amin's army who were given special duties to hunt down both Acoli and Langi renegades, however remotely associated with UPC, to protect the shining regime of dictator Amin!  Yoga cannot even bring to mention Amin in his breath!! As doing so may chock him! Me thinks more CLEARLY, that the likes of Yoga and his FRONASA, later day UPM and today's NRA/M7 have continued to perpetuate the current political chaos inside the UPC party; first by splitting duties as follows: 'Adhola Yoga' to take control of Obote to hollow-out the UPC, and 'Museveni Yoweri' to pursue political vendetta and power by any means necessary. With hindsight, I am not surprised by the recent revelation of Adhola that his job inside UPC is FINITO and KAPUT!

Take the recent example, when the capacity of anti – OLARA Otunnu was crumbling with a dire consequent for our dear party, OLARA for all his sins, if any, tried to bring in some elders of the UPC party to make some soul charges to steer the party from the constructed havoc under the guise of AKENA Jimmy MP and cahoots. Well the puppet-master Adhola, revealed his hand in the escapade when he stated I quote;

"(4) In trying to prop up Olara Otunnu, these professors are completely oblivious of the fact that Olara is very unpopular in the party.  Bringing him before UPC delegates risks his being physically assaulted.  I have warned about this for years."

SECOND, I think, for years Adhola had stated he was a student of the politics of late AMO.  True, but for a different FRONASA-centric reasons.  The question is, was it the late AMO planning to kill all his opponents from within the UPC party and, or outside? Frankly, as a very strong supporter of UNC and later UPC party I know, the UPC party had never set an Internal Democratic Commission of Inquiry to try to build political compromise for the way forward within the UPC party itself!  Sadly, Me thinks, even there was the "Lusaka post-mortem of the 1985 coup," me concluded it was not a Commission of Inquiry.  I hope some of you who might have known better about this Lusaka Convention' at the late AMO exile home, could teach us more, if not lets us into the outcome.

It pains me to even think that Adhola and, or Apiliga Moses are openly trying to conceal the physical assaults on OLARA Otunnu by Akena or is it to blame it on Akena!! – poor Akena!! Now Adhola is openly campaigning for the repeat and, or even the complete killing of OLARA Otunnu by revealing that this should be done before Olara escapes to enjoy some gainful living elsewhere, OMG!!  I think, and believe Adhola Yoga is not revealing the truth that he wants or revels in the continued internal political chaos inside Uganda House ala 'talking with forked tongue'.

For some of us whatever the origin or genesis of political 'fractions' within the UPC party, the signpost, I think leads to the Gulu UPC party (ADC) Annual Delegate Conference in 1964.  One is the torpedoed frontal attack on the late Kakonge John (RIP), who was to be replaced by the late Ibingira Grace; and the plan for the ousting of the Executive Prime Minister Obote to be replaced Kabaka Muteesa (RIP), who was a ceremonial President of Uganda to be elevated to be the Executive President of Uganda. Something missing or not so robust information suggest that Kabaka Muteesa through Ibingira Grace (RIP) commanded a military attempt to arrest Prime Minister OBOTE from the work tour of Northern Uganda through the deputy Uganda Army Commander, the late Brig Opolot Shaban (RIP)!

This was the very first use of militancy in politics whereby, the late OBOTE later had to enrolled, the support of late dictator AMIN who was the Uganda Army Commander to do that dirty political job by military means. These episodes, Me thinks, tainted and destroyed the chances of developing or strengthening our fragile democracy by political means in Uganda till today!

LASTLY, for the life of me, allow me to imagine that FRONASA, NRA/M7 conscripted Akena through Adhola, their 'sleeper' inside our very own UPC party. The first phase was 'charisma transfer' that conscripted Ms Miria Obote. That 'worketh well well', since Adhola was already deep inside the bedroom of the late OBOTE before his death when UPC party was in government way back in 1984!

Today, having destroyed the UPC party 'completely, also, throughout, na vile vile', the self-styled Chief Ideologue, ala Ssese seko kuku ngbendu wa za banga of Padhola, 'George Adhola Yoga' and his cahoots from their FRONASA days are going to celebrate their victories inside the NRA/M regime where his close comrades have spread the Yellow Welcoming Carpet – so says Ndugu Rugunda, NRA/FRONASA Prime Minister to welcome the all-time hero, smasher and conqueror UPC.  Well Adhola stated it here in the UPCnet forum that his work inside UPC is FINITO (whatever that means) or Kaput, (ahh – more like it).  It is no surprise to some of us who used to condemn the actions of Adhola way back in the 1970s but to no avail since the scheming Adhola had sweet-talked the late OBOTE with the ever anti–Ganda blinkers, and black-mail politics!
