{UAH} More UPDF troops for South Sudan

The Spokesperson of the Sudan Peoples' Liberation Army (SPLA) Col. Philip Aguer Panyang has refuted allegations that the President has ordered for more UPDF troops to be deployed in Juba in the wake of the failed peace deal.
Aguer told The Nation Mirror on Thursday that the SPLA forces are enough to defend the country; that there is no reason for the army headquarters to demand for more foreign forces.
"The SPLA has not received any foreign troops from Uganda and why should there be more troops to come to Juba when we have enough to defend the Country, besides there is nothing to be worried about because there is no fighting in Juba," Aguer said.
Aguer said the SPLA forces are everywhere in the country defending the country from both the rebels and any other external aggressions. It was said that the government had expected fighting to erupt in Juba as President Kiir left for Addis Ababa with fear of being detained if he did not sign the peace deal on 17th August.
According to sources who pled for anonymity to speak freely, the Ugandan forces arrived in Juba at dawn and were heavily armed. Other sources close to the military intelligence (MI) in Juba, said that government anticipated fighting within the Capital Juba after the removal of the two elected governors of Western and Central Equatoria states, Joseph Bakasoro and Clement Wani Konga.
