{UAH} Woman charged with manslaughter after allegedly injecting roommate with drug
She injected her roommate before bed, police said in a news release.
The woman, 48, said she found her roommate, 51, unresponsive before she called 911 late Monday night.
Upon arrival, EMS found a deceased man inside the apartment unit. After speaking with the woman, police executed a search warrant and seized several syringes from the apartment.
On Tuesday, police arrested the woman in relation to the ongoing investigation.
Toxicological samples were taken and will be submitted to the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, according to a press release.
The woman is charged with Manslaughter and Criminal Negligence Causing Death.
