Mr Ochieno, my view is that the former goes for all political parties or at least, most of their politicians including the UPC.
As for the genuine Pan-African bit, based on what have been uttered about / against the Ugandan soldiers on the solidarity
mission in Somalia, I dare say there is no such thing as Pan-African sentiments at the moment. NOT EVEN AMONG THE UPC except in slogans
and rhetoricals.
In fact, in my view, the UPC lost that stance and with the lost of that grip, the UPC became just like any other party struggling to get hold of
ideological base. What do you think?
What is there for the UPC to show in terms of particular Pan-African engagement in recent years? That goes for most of the countries in Africa.
None seems interested in Pan Africanism. And the AU is just as spineless
That is my view.
Perhaps you could throw some light here?

Billie,
Now if and when Muntu says 'enough is enough'........where does he go? Return to the inner NRA mainstream or, hang on the outer - where at least he has some semblance of power?
These guys are too proud to acknowledge that they got it wrong and, killed innocent Ugandans for nothing. His natural home is UPC -the nationalist UPC that disregards nationality (and self-interest) contradictions - I mean the one at peace with genuine Pan-Afrikanist agenda, not those backdoor ones.
