{UAH} WBK, POLITICS IS NOT ABOUT GENERATION BUT CIRCUMSTANCES!!
Your piece below is full of fallacy,
Mr. Akim :
I say this without any contradiction that Mr Mao is no match for Mr. Opiyo Oloya. And that is not to put Mr. Mao's talents down. Let me tell you NEVER EVER compare your YKM generation with the generation of Opiyo Oloya or our generation. Your generation is bure, biccuupuli. Educate yourself the forces that tried to defeat Mr. Opiyo Oloya and see what I mean. The little I know about Dr Opiyo Oloya is that he is from Gulu, which has many prominent families, the Alikers, the Abes, the Lalobos, the Adimolas, the Lutaras etc. That is his base. Of course the other buddies, Dr George Otto and Dr John Oryema are from Kitgum. I mention this for a purpose, but will not delve into here.
WBK
In politics its not about what "generation" but circumstance faced by each generation and how they deal with it. In most cases it falls to individuals and as such, its their effort that we delve in. It is therefore illogical that you should think that your generation is better than the one after. The proof and truth is that Uganda is still as bad when your so called generation ruled the roost. The difference however is that some individuals in a given generation chose the easy way out, exile; while others stood their ground and fought on. This where i think Mao has an edge over some of your generational Illuminati.
Educate yourself the forces that tried to defeat Mr. Opiyo Oloya and see what I mean
The forces are still there and operate under the same circumstances, in the same country. It's still the oppressive unitary system, tribalism, nepotism, threats and killings, arrest and torture are still there, less you forget. What has changed are the players.
Please leave families out of the discussion. I am not interested. It's about individual players that matters to me. So, what was your contribution as an individual without riding on the back of the "generation horse or the family tree"?
