Museveni says he Cannot Trust Prof. Bukenya, just like Besigye and Mbabazi, though he is welcome back

He may have abandoned The Democratic Alliance (TDA) where he was purported to be a moll back to his NRM party where he was before he fall out, but his return is still seen as "suspicious", at least basing what President Museveni remarked at the welcome party at Prof. Gilbert Bukenya's Katome Kingdom Hotel in Garuga at the weekend.

The Investigator has reliably learnt that Bukenya sealed the deal to return to the main stream NRM after he met President Museveni in the United Kingdom recently.

Political analysts indicated that it is just a matter of time before the medic, is thrown into political oblivion like the likes of Aggrey Sinyori Awori, Omara Atubo and others.

And to sound his point home on how he is still suspicious, Museveni who had to meet Bukenya at his Katome Resort welcome home party, said: "I pledge to work with Prof. Bukenya to link people at village level though just like Besigye and Mbabazi, they are untrusted leaders."

Bukenya who was sacked as Vice President in 2011 due to what intelligence reports intimated he was nursing political ambitions for Presidency gathered multitudes of supporters whom he ferried for three nights to his Katome Kingdom Resort. Though he retorted to the crowds that he was not insane, as those in the political divide thought, Democratic Party President Norbert Mao described Prof Bukenya as an invertebrate (with no backbone). 'He called himself Mahogany, but after his change of events, he is no longer mahogany but a papyrus," Mao talked of Bukenya.

Reports are rife that the Busiro North Member of Parliament might have struck a juicy deal worth billions of shillings especially at this time when his pocket levels were described as 'wanting" ahead of next years' general elections. Details of these allegations will be unearthed in our investigation that is underway.

Prof. Bukenya who has been in the limelight for criticizing President Museveni decided to announce his return on Independence day as Museveni led others at this year's independence day celebrations in Gulu, when he said he is the only best candidate to support in next year's presidential elections.
