The pentagon has issued a very interesting statement, a one identified as Peter Cook has issued a statement that the DOD {Department of Defense} has offered “Condolence payments” to the families of US air strike victims on the hospital in Kunduz Afghanistan. The statement continues to state that  "US Forces-Afghanistan has the authority to make condolence payments and payments toward repair of the hospital. USFOR-A will work with those affected to determine appropriate payments," He added that Washington may seek additional authority from the US Congress to that end "if necessary and appropriate."  Now watch very carefully at the wording of this statement, the use of the term “Condolence payment” instead of compensation can be interpreted as a denial of responsibility for the deaths initially labeled by the Obama administration as collateral damage. The pressure is mounting on this administration to allow an independent investigation about this issue, and the administration has decided to keep quite from about Thursday when their statements kept on becoming silly by the second.  Now today this what they have issued. One wonders what they fear in an independent investigation, one would have thought that they would have called it themselves.

 

What exactly are they hiding? One can ponder !!!!!!
