{UAH} IS KABAKA THE MOST LAW ABIDING OR?
The Lamogi clan chief Martin Otinga Otto Yai Otuka has asked his subjects to vote for President Museveni in 2016 presidential polls, saying he has honoured pledges to develop the chiefdom.
The chief made the remarks while speaking to residents at his home in Guru-guru village Lamogi Sub-county, Amuru District, while receiving a new Pajero donated to him by Mr Museveni on Friday.

People;
The above, is a quote from the Monitor newspaper purported to have been made by Rwot Otinga of Amuru. As far as the law in Uganda is concerned, the Rwot and his feudal kinds are prohibited by law, to wade into politics. Therefore, the call by Rwot Otinga Otto of Lamogi to his subject to vote for Museveni, is a breach of the law. Unless he is above the law, the Rwot must be brought to book.
The Kabaka of Buganda who stands to gain more than most of the feudals around him, has been very silence as far as politics is concerned. There could only be three reasons; law abiding, fear or simply, his subject are doing the right politics.
My recent call to the Katikiro of Buganda to give the Kabaka a voice was not heeded. The Monarchy has been nonchalant, in the broken promise of a federal Buganda, in the split up of Buganda Kingdom and rise and rise of Bunyoro. Silence maybe Golden but when a Rwot who at the sight of Pajero, risked driving himself to Luzira, suffice to say that what might excite the Kabaka is bigger, much bigger than a 4x4 Pajero. But by being silence and not demanding or commanding like a Kabaka should do, he is likely to end up with what made Rwot Otinga leap in the air for, and nothing bigger than that!.
The Kabaka, should know that you can't make an omelette without breaking an egg!.
